Sometimes...
a labyrinth can take years to become a physical reality.
In 2018 I met with my friend Deb,
to discuss her desire to have a labyrinth on the beautiful land she lives on.
Despite our plans and several meetings,
listening to the land and finding the right spot,
the labyrinth did not come to fruition.
Fast-forward five years and in the blink of an eye... it happened!
This sweet three-circuit Classical Labyrinth was created in less than two hours.
Deborah says...
This labyrinth is created in perfect timing!! Life and energy is all about change. We have expectations and desires and try as we might— the universe brings in what is perfect in the moment. Thank goodness for Lea and her suggestion, “let’s just do it! And make it simple and small”. Changes are happening!!
Mulch from beneath the surrounding trees was used to fill the paths.
Rocks were placed at the entrance and a single rock was placed at the heart-space
of this labyrinth, where the two lines that make up the labyrinth meet.
This three-circuit Classical Labyrinth is approximately seven-feet in diameter.
We used approximately 85 bricks for the lines.
Some of the bricks were cut in half to make for tight turns and spaces.
Mulch from beneath the surrounding trees were used to fill the paths.
