We made our way along the Woodland Trail at Bandon Dunes, Oregon in search of the labyrinth.
Denny Dyke, of Circles in the Sand was our guide as we moved through the majestic trees that were dancing in the afternoon August breeze.
Following the markers along the trail we made a turn between giant sentient stones and found the labyrinth, a Chartres design replica, before us in a circle of trees. It was a sweet walk with such dear friends.
Beneath the canopy of dappled light and dark we walked in silence to the sound of the trees and breezes singing to us.
This beautiful marker speaks to the archetype and metaphor of the labyrinth that is relevant to many, no matter what your own walk in life happens to be…
And you can just imagine the laughter and love that we shared at the end of our walk. Friends from different directions coming together to celebrate the beauty of life and each other.
