Please bring a small, hand-held object from the land
to share in this event!
In the first hour, I will be offering a new interactive experience
with leaves and labyrinth, called Wanderings.
If the land could speak... is the final of three public events of The Land and Me, a public art project, organized by Carol Mancke and Trena Noval and commissioned by Santa Rosa Art in Public Places as part of the Fire Response - Round 1 Public Art Initiative. This event is an opportunity to come together and help each other as we continue to navigate through these changes and loss through renewed connections to the land.
Our historic DeTurk Round Barn is one of the seven remaining 19th Century barns in the entire United States. Entering into this incredible space is a walk back in time and an opportunity to experience with your entire body the beauty of architcture that is transformational in design.
